    azizisbored:

If you ain’t up on autobuds, ya need to be. Quick explanation - these 3 blue Toyota Rav 4’s chilling in the same vicinity = autobuds. This is epic cause not only is it the first non-parked/in-motion autobud sighting, but god damn if I don’t see not two, but THREE autobuds in this shot.

  9. They Want EFX

    Artist: Das EFX

    Album: Dead Serious

I riggity realize that I liggity love this album (Das EFX AND Chappelle’s Show reference!). Hip-Hop is notorious for legendary debut albums followed my mediocre sophomore efforts. Although their other albums aren’t terrible, nothing compares to Dead Serious. It’s classic shit, 10 of the dopest tracks you’ll ever hear. Typical East Coast Drums and deep samples keep your head bobbin’. Nearly every track has a James Brown sample, however my favorite sample is Isaac Hayes’ “Ike’s Mood/You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin” used for the song “East Coast.” I love every song on this album, but if I had to choose, I’d go with “Klap Ya Handz”, “Mic Checka”, & “East Coast.”

You can’t talk about Das EFX without talkin about their flow. The whole adding “iggedy” to every word is so ill, and it’s also a trademark. Any time you hear iggedy, Das EFX comes to mind, they’ll always have a place in hip-hop because of this. It’s more than just silly catch phrases though, their lyrics were so different from what was being heard at the time. They had crazy, silly metaphors and sounded like they didn’t care about they said. They were fun, but still hard. They rapped fast and without google people would still be trying to figure out the lyrics. This album is a staple of hip-hop and SHOULD be in your library, just sayin’.
